South Africa cricket player got corona virus before England tour

One of the South African cricket players has tested positive for covid-19 before south Africa tour to England for a series.

According to details, England and South Africa has to meet in a series having three ODIs and three T20I. The series is likely to start on November 27 2020. It was decided to play the series in a bio-secure environment due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Unfortunately, before the start of the series, coronavirus hits one of the South African cricket players. South African team medical staff declared one player and two other persons to be Covid positive. As a result, they have been isolated in the Cape Town. All are asymptomatic but doctors will continue to examine them.

Cricket south Africa gave its statement in this regard. It said that the south Africa medical team is monitoring them in order to ensure their health. The medical staff tested approximately 50 players and other staff before south Africa tour to England for a series. It also said that it is serious about controlling the spread of the virus and that it has performed all the tests in accordance to the obligations for ensuring its team safety.
